Sorry I have not been updating. But I plan on keeping this site updated all the time now. (11/9/09 )
11/10/09 - I am booking Bill Cooper for a seminar at the school! This will be a great treat for the students! Bill is an incredible grappler and I am excited to see his tournament tricks! I am sure he has a lot he can teach us! I will post the date when I have it. It will be in January for sure!
11/9/09 - We are having our Grand Opening for the school this Dec. 5th! We are going to have a live band, and several top jiujitsu competitors there. We are having food, raffle, games and much more! So please try and come by.
10/19/09 - Just opened a new academy downtown Bakersfield! With over 3500 sq feet of mat space to grapple on. The mats are SWAIN mats and we built a spring floor to go along with them. Its an amazing feel and makes it even safer to take those Judo falls.
I am now teaching GI and No GI Jiujitsu. We have classes every single day excluding Sunday. I even started a womens only JiuJitsu class for those not wanting to roll around with the guys.

9/18/2005 - Camarillo Seminar raises over $5000 for the Katrina Victims.
We had a great showing at the Seminar. I believe over 47 students from all over was on the mat. We had three groups and four instructors. David Camarillo, Daniel Camarillo, Dave Williams, and Bob Cook. The photos for the seminar are up and the videos are coming soon. I will only post a couple of videos due to David having someone taking as much video as possible and will be doing something special with it. I will also have video of David and I rolling as well as some others. I want to thank everyone who showed up and supported a very important event.
09/11/2005 - Camarillo Seminar to help the Hurricane victims :
There will be a Judo/JiuJitsu seminar by David Camarillo/Daniel Camarillo and many others that I am working on as we speak. We could possibly get some Judoka from the famed San Jose State University Varsity team. This will take place at American Kickboxing Academy Sunday September 18th at 12 noon.... More information coming soon!!!! 100$ a person for the 3-4 hour seminar. ALL PROCEEDS are donations for the victims and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina!!! Please do your best to attend and help our nation in a time of need!!!!
Update: Just got off the phone with Judo US Open Champion and World Championship Team Member David Williams and he confirmed for the 18th!
ALL Camarillo JJ students at AKA are strongly encouraged to make it!
